21 days of fasting –

Once a thief stole the box containing Sri Ramachandra Devaru and Seeta Devi alongwith many jewels.    This was on Ashada shudda chaturdashi.    Srigalu was very sad and decided to go fast until the paramathma’s idol is traced.    Divan Poornaiah, immediately rushed to Sreegalu and asked him to stop fasting.  But Srigalu never accepted, but was performing regular Pooja and take theertha.  On the 21st day, the thief returned the lost idols after taking away all the jewelry covered in a plantain leaf and His Holiness’s joy knew no bounds (Though the Math had lost considerable jewelry, a Sanyasi would only bother about the idols which are of immense value).

By this time the Sreegalu was very sick and could not recover and decided to give Ashrama to Sri Navarathna Acharya and named him as Satya Dharma Thirtharu on Shravana Shudda Panchami and breathed his lost on Shravana Shuddha Saptami exactly two days after giving ashrama.

The Vrundavana was constructed at Santebidanoor under the supervision of Sri Divan Poornaiah.  Santebidanoor is in the border area of Karnataka and Andhrapradesh and is about 8 kms from Gowribidanoor.    You can also find Sri Satya parayana Thirthara Vrundavana at Santebidanoor and

Poorvasharama Name: Sri Krishnacharya Haveri.  He was famous as  Jhulpi Krishnachar
