           He was in the Peeta for 23 years


Agrapooja : Once in Cuddapah, in a great debate in front of King Venkatapathi Raju, he excelled and defeated all.  Then he was given agrapooja by all pandits in Cuddapah.

 

Donations by Kings :  Srirangapatna King donated him Hiremaralli and Chikkamaralli and also built a Matha building for UM at Narasimhapuram.

 

Penugonda      :  He was donated Reddy Halli and Doddagatti in Punugonda for his success of debate with other pandits.

 

Once during the Chaturmasya Vratha of  Sri Vedavyasa Teertharu, a boy fell down into river and with his power Sri Vedavyasa Teertharu saved him and gave him ashrama, and named him as Krishna Dwaipayana, who was a great jnaani and a bhaktha of Vedavyasa Devaru

Sri Vedavyasa Teertharu is famous for their Bramhacharya as narrated in the Charama Shloka.  His kaupeena was not burnt even after keeping it in the fire and it was still pure only which shows his brahmacharya.
