Badarinarayana Vigraha found in his dream – once he got a dream wherein he saw Badarinarayana Vigraha at a place. Next day, when he went to that place in search of that vigraha, he got the vigraha and the same vigraha is being worshipped and kept over his vrundavana at Madanuru.
Chaturashrama - Like his Gurugalu Vyasatatvajnaru, Madanuru Vishnu Tirtharu also has gone through all the four – Chaturashramas, viz., Brahmacharya, Gruhasta, Sanyasa and Vanaprasta
Jayatirtha drunk the Panchamrutha -
Once when Jayatirtha (Vishnu tirtharu’s poorvashrama), Sri IG Venkataramanacharyaru, the gurugalu, told his shishyaas to do japa of Nrusimha Mantra, on behalf of Gopalakrishnacharya, the son of IG Venkataramanacharya who was suffering from severe health problem and was facing unnatural death. Sri Jayatirtha started chanting the mantras and did it for seven days even without food or water. On the seventh day, he completed the mantra and had become very lean and was hungry. He came straight to Gopalakrishna Temple and took the items kept for preparing Panchamrutha for Gopalakrishna himself. All the people were stunned at this. After some time, during Mangalarathi the panchamrutha was coming out of the mouth of Gopalakrishna devaru. Then the people noticed that the panchamrutha which Jayatirtha had eaten were done samarpana to bimbamoorthy in him. The son of IG Venkataramanachar also recovered.
Vairagya through Purandaradasara devaranama –
Once Jayatirthachar was sitting happily on his decorated bed alongwith his wife. Then a Daasa came near his house and was singing the devaranama –
govinda namo govinda namo govinda naaraayana
mancha baaradu | maDadi baaraLu |
kanchu kannadi baaradu |
sanchitaartada dravya baaradu |
munche maadiro dharmava |
On hearing this immediately Jnaana in Jayatirtha made him to got out of his bed, left his house and never touched the bed again. Each word in the song was so inspiring that he left everything step by step and took vairagya.
